CAMERAS, MONITORS AND ACCESSORIES
Velvac, the leader in vision systems, now offers a line of side-
and rear-vision camera systems. Side-mount cameras eliminate blind spots to the
side of the vehicle to help reduce passing lane related accidents. Rear-mounted
cameras help drivers view the difficult to see areas to the rear of the vehicle
improving backing safety. Plug and play system allows for quick and easy installation.
Velvac offers pre-packaged camera and monitor kits as well as stand-alone components,
cables and mounting brackets for custom installations.
Back-up cameras are available in manually adjustable and fixed mount designs. Adjustable
design allows camera to be pivoted to view various target areas. Fixed mount provides a
clean flush to body installation with no exposed wiring. Both side- and rear- cameras offer
infrared LED system to provide visibility even in low light and no light conditions. Fixed
mount side- and rear-vision cameras feature digital CMOS (Complimentary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)
image processing while adjustable bracket rear-vision cameras utilize CCD (Charged Couple Device)
analog image technology. While both provide great image clarity and object definition, CMOS cameras
also provide the added benefit of reducing image white out or blooming caused by bright light
conditions commonly cased by headlights, direct sunlight, or light reflections. An added IR filter
further enhances clarity and color definition.

ANTI-SIPHON TUBES
As the price of diesel fuel increases, the contents of your fuel tank are becoming
increasingly valuable and attractive to theft. But for the cost of a few gallons of diesel
fuel, Velvac fuel security products can help prevent the loss of hundreds of dollars of fuel
due to theft. Protect your fuel with Velvac’s anti-siphon tubes made from 6061 aircraft aluminum
tubing. The tube installs quickly and easily into the fuel filler neck and cannot be removed once installed.
It is designed to prevent the insertion of a hose into the tank to steal fuel but will not impede standard
fueling at 20 gallons per minute. The quick and easy fit into the filler neck takes just seconds but can
provide years of deterrent against fuel loss. Sizes are available to fit 1.87- to 3- inch diameter filler necks.

HEIGHT CONTROL VALVES
Velvac has a new line of valves that are a direct replacement height control valve
for all makes of cab air suspension and cassis applications. Their bolt in installation does not
require drilling. The largest supplier of air suspension height control valves manufacturer to
the US truck industry manufactures them. They are designed and produced by an ISO 9001: 2000
certified facilities to OE specifications.
The valves use the Shear-Seal design, which wears in, not out. The hardened valve components
resist wear from air system contaminants. The Shear-Seal principal is based on the sliding of
two precisely machined metal sealing surfaces across each other, creating a zero-leak seal.
(Less than 4cc per minute) Media passes through the center of the seals, rather than across the
seal surface, preventing contamination from entering the seal areas. As the valve shifts, the
wiping action of the polished metal seals pushes away debris. Precision engineering and manufacturing
combine for unmatched performance and reliability.

BRASS POP DISPLAY
Velvac’s new brass display is designed for ultimate flexibility and storage space.
There are three different standard bin sizes and layouts or can by purchased individually to
customize to your needs. Bins are designed to accept dividers, which increased storage
possibilities. The frame is formed from 16-gauge steel for strength and stability. The frame is
designed to hold up to 800 pounds. It comes with an attractive header card.

2020XG MIRROR SYSTEM
The combination of styling, quality, and safety makes the 2020XG mirror system an outstanding value.
Velvac’s 2020XG mirror provides superior visibility while upgrading the style of your 96” and 102”
wide body commercial cutaway van, ambulance, or Class C RV with a fresh mirror design that expands
the field of view while building in additional driver convenience. The 2020XG mirror fits directly
into the OEM “sail area” on the popular GM and Ford van chassis. The mirror has a fully integrated base,
arm and mirror head for a stylish look. It includes an innovative pivot system to allow the mirror to be
folded forward or back and easily returned to “home” position. Advanced vibration dampening in the mirror
head ensures visibility on rough road surfaces.

20’ COILED NYLON TUBING ASSEMBLIES
For applications where 15’ coils will just not do, consider a 20’ assembly from Velvac.
It meets or exceeds SAEJ844, SAEJ1131 and FMVSS 571.106. The spring guards help protect from kinking.
It is made from ½” OD reinforced nylon tubing. It is resistant to diesel fuel, gasoline and other road contaminates.

Velvac offers a wide variety of hose clamps for a wide variety of applications: air intake system,
charge-air cooling, air to air after-cooling system, turbo exhaust manifold, fuel line and coolant system.
Euro-Seal® clamps have embossed threads and rounded bank edge to help eliminate hose abrasion and damage.
Clamps meet or exceed international clamp specifications for material, corrosion resistance, sizing and torque.
Constant-Torque® clamps include a patented Belleville spring design eliminating “cold flow hose leaks” by automatically
adjusting diameter for hose compression set or expansion/contraction of hose fittings due to temperature changes.
Hi-Torque® clamps are made of a heavy gauge housing engineered so eight screw threads are simultaneously engaged to
provide over four times the recommended SAE torque requirements of standard worm drive clamps.

BACK UP ALARMS
Velvac’s speaker style back-up alarms feature color coded chemical resistant, high impact housing
that protect internal components and epoxy filled solid state electronics for trouble-free operations and safe
steam cleaning. Units have an operation temperature range of -40° to 185° F. They are designed with a
universal mounting flange for mounting flexibility. Each unit is polarity and voltage protected and
meets SAE J994 Oct 03 Types A to D requirements.

WEST COAST MIRRORS
Velvac’s 2010 West Coast Mirror offers the widest viewing area available. Velvac’s West Coast Mirrors
offer over 10% more viewing than other 7” x 16” West Coast mirrors. They are designed to fit any standard 17.5” span
loop. A 4-amp temperature controlled heating element provides quick, even defrosting and prevents mirror glass from
overheating. The polished 300 series stainless steel outer shell and heavy-duty ABS plastic inner housing combine to
ensure durability and good looks. Optional marker light provides additional safety by indicating the widest point of
the vehicle to oncoming drivers.

BLIND SPOT MIRRORS
Velvac’s blind spot mirrors include 5”, 6”, 7.5” and 8.5” diameter chrome and stainless steel designs
in attractive open-faced display box packaging. The high luster chrome plated steel mirror includes stainless ball
stud screws with zinc plated mounting bolt. The stainless mirrors are made of a high polished 400 series stainless steel
and include stainless steel hardware.

VAN AND CHASSIS MIRROR SYSTEM
Velvac’s Model 2020 mirrors improve safety by improving visibility. The stylish mirrors feature an
original equipment appearance and will replace the original equipment mirrors easily and securely using the existing
factory mirror mounting holes. The unique pivot design allows the mirror arm and head to rotate 80° forward or rearward
if impacted to prevent mirror/door damage. The pivot also provides for an easy to locate present driving position.
Designed to fit a wide variety of vehicles: Ford Econoline, Ford Duper Duty F-250 to F-750, Chevrolet G3500/Express,
GMC Topkick C4500 to C8500, GMC Savana, and GMC Silverado. It is available in three arm lengths to fit 86”, 96” or 102” wide bodies.

MOD POD MIRROR
Velvac’s popular Mod Pod mirror system with lock down feature offers superior stability and provides for easy
adjustment. To position the mirror, simply loosen the set screw with a 5/32” Allen wrench, lift and rotate the mirror arm into
proper viewing or fold back position then retighten the set screw. With the provision gears set at 12 degree intervals,
small adjustments are held securely in place even before the lever clamps down on the arm leaving no cause for worry about the
arm moving out of position while being tightened down. The result is a perfect view every time.

AIR CYCLINDERS
Velvac’s standard series of air cylinders are built for durability with a reputation for quality and affordability.
The cylinders are used in a wide variety of applications and conditions and can take the daily abuse associated with typical tailgate applications. They are backed with a 1 year warranty and are 100% tested. Velvac cylinders are available in push/pull, solenoid
operated and spring return versions.

DOCUMENT HANDLER
Velvac’s Tite-Seal document storage cases include a patented rubber cap, which creates a watertight seal.
The aluminum mount bracket features cushioned tube supports and pre-drilled mounting holes. A CapKeeper protective cable secures
caps to the mounting bracket.
